In the mood

There are those days when you open your eyes, jump out of bed, smiling, happy. Jose James croons "lovely day" in your head, you dress in colors, and leave the house to take on the world. The sky is blue, the sun is warming your back, work, friends, sports, shopping, walking, traffic, food, chaos, "lovely day, lovely day."

There are those days when you open your eyes, do I really have to get out of bed? Elvis Costello croons "I want to vanish" in your head, you get dressed, leave the house. The sky is cardboard grey, work, people, sports, shopping, walking, traffic, food, chaos, "I want to vanish. This is my fondest wish."

It is a collection of monotype-drawings on wood and paper. They are all made with acrylic paint and pencil.
